<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />If the Bears are contemplating a move on their offensive line to slide rookie second-round pick James Daniels into the starting lineup at center, this is the week to do it.<br /><br />After Saturday night’s 24-23 exhibition victory over the Broncos at Mile High Stadium, preparation shifts to what will be a mock game week. In advance of the Chiefs coming to Soldier Field next Saturday, the coaching staff will simulate, as best as possible, the work that goes into preparing for a regular-season game.<br /><br />It also will be the exhibition game in which the starters get the most action, likely playing into the third quarter. So if Daniels is ready, or if the coaches believe he’s close to ready, the time to promote him is now so he can get some work with quarterback Mitch Trubisky.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It’s sure to be a topic of discussion, whether or not the Bears want to hear it, especially after a shotgun snap from Cody Whitehair went through Trubisky’s hands and led to a safety in the first quarter. That snap, however, was fine, and the quarterback admitted afterward he should have caught it.<br /><br />READ MORE: Bears first-string offense has some good, bad and ugly in 24-23 exhibition win over Broncos »<br /><br />Trubisky was on the field for a total of 26 snaps, not counting penalties. Nineteen plays were run from the shotgun, an indication of how prevalent that alignment will be in the new offense. Whitehair took a series with No. 2 quarterback Chase Daniel at the end of the second quarter — seven more plays, six from the shotgun. There weren’t any alarming snaps, although he did send one back at Trubisky’s ankles on a play that was blown dead by a penalty. The false start by Bobby Massie could have contributed to that.<br /><br />Whitehair used a new snapping technique Saturday from the shotgun, something that is called the dead snap, holding the nose of the ball and almost flipping it back. It’s a departure from the traditional spiral snap.<br /><br />“I was trying a little something different and it worked better for me,” Whitehair said. “Guys that are struggling go to that because for whatever reason you grip the ball a little bit better and you have a little bit more control over it. It’s what I tried and it ended up working out for me.”<br />Preseason: Bears 24, Broncos 23<br /><br />Photos from the Bears-Broncos preseason game at Mile High Stadium on Aug. 18, 2018.<br /><br />It’s akin to a pitcher changing his grip on a pitch and if this works, perhaps things will settle down for him. Whitehair said he worked on it the “past couple days” so with more time, he should become more proficient. You see the dead snap more at the college level.<br /><br />Whitehair has been battling a case of the occasional bad snap. A high snap last week at Cincinnati short-circuited one of eight plays by the first unit. There have been too many — about one per practice, including Wednesday and Thursday during joint practices with the Broncos. Coach Matt Nagy has firmly backed Whitehair but also said the situation needs to be corrected.<br /><br />It will be interesting to see if the Bears do anything in the week ahead. Promoting Daniels now would help avoid the kind of musical chairs the Bears have played on the offensive line the last few years, especially if they’re leaning on playing the Iowa product sooner rather than later.<br /><br />Two years ago, Whitehair played left guard exclusively in preseason before the Bears signed Josh Sitton on the weekend of final cuts and shifted the then-rookie to center for the season opener. In 2015, Kyle Long was moved from right guard to right tackle after the preseason ended. For a unit that requires such continuity, the Bears have done more than their share of changing on the fly, something that becomes necessary when injuries strike.<br /><br />Daniels, drafted 39th overall, is the center of the future. Is he also the center for right now?<br /><br />“Cody knows I’ve got his back,” Trubisky said during the week. “Cody cares more about this team and this game than pretty much anybody. If you guys knew how much Cody loved this game, this team, there wouldn’t be any questions about it. So I’m not worried one bit.”<br /><br />It’s not that Whitehair can’t snap. He was better, or at least more consistent, as a rookie in 2016 than when he started at all three interior positions last season. Maybe it’s a case of the yips. Maybe it’s just a rough patch that just happens to come as the team is ramping up for the Sept. 9 opener at Green Bay. Whatever the case, the situation has been magnified because Daniels was drafted as a center who also can play guard, not a guard who can move inside.<br /><br />Listening to Trubisky, it sure sounds as if Whitehair has been pressing. He works hard and is a prideful guy. Moving him to left guard certainly wouldn’t be a demotion. He’s a building a block for the future of the offensive line.<br /><br />The Bears at least have been preparing Daniels for the move. Since returning from the shoulder injury that kept him out of three practices and the preseason opener against the Ravens in Canton, Ohio, he’s worked exclusively at center. That’s after splitting time there and at left guard.<br /><br />Even if Daniels is going to have some growing pains in the role, he will have veterans on each side of him. It’s not like Nagy is in a situation where it’s win or else. The coach has a five-year contract and a chance to grow his young players. The general manager got a new contract this offseason, so if the Bears think Daniels is close, it makes sense to make the move.<br /><br />Maybe Whitehair has settled down, can improve upon his new dead snap and the Bears will stick with him. And as fans would hope, Chopra's engagement ring is on full display (and yes, it is stunning).<br /><br />In the caption, the Quantico actor wrote, "Taken.. With all my heart and soul.." As the geotag indicates, the snapshot is from their recently rumored trip to Mumbai, where their families were supposed to meet. That theory was confirmed by another photo gallery Chopra posted to Instagram, showing the Jonas and Chopra fams posing together. She captioned the series of images, "The only way to do this... with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings."<br /><br />As for the future groom, Jonas shared the same selfie with Chopra and wrote, "Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love." Not only that, but Jonas also commented on Chopra's pic too. The singer jokingly wrote, "Wow congrats... He's the luckiest guy in the world," along with a smug face emoji and a heart. For a couple that previously kept things so under wraps, they're really embracing their relationship in the spotlight finally and no wonder they're so happy.</span></div>

At the time of reporting, Chopra's pic was posted just four hours ago and has nearly 2.5 million likes. Sure, people were excited about the engagement when it was merely a rumor back in July, but this is next-level joy — and it's totally warranted. Finally, they're sharing their love story on their terms and they genuinely seem thrilled.<br /><br />If you're just catching up to speed, Chopra and Jonas first were spotted together in May 2017 when they attended the Met Gala, but they spun it as a friendly scenario. It wasn't until an entire year later, May 2018, that the dating rumors actually began. That month, they reportedly saw Beauty and the Beast Live at the Hollywood Bowl, spent Memorial Day Weekend together on a boat, and the rest is history.<br /><br />Aside from the occasional flirty Instagram comment, there wasn't really concrete confirmation that these two were really a thing. But then, in July, the engagement rumors spread like wildfire According to People, Jonas closed an entire Tiffany's store to buy a ring before asking Chopra to marry him on her 36th birthday in London. If that really is the way the proposal went down, it's over-the-top yet undeniably adorable. </span></div>

I'm a girl; I have the right to keep that to myself."<br /><br />She also said, "My family, my friendships and my relationships are things I don't think I need to defend or explain to anyone. I am not running for office, so I don't think I need to give explanations." That's a totally fair explanation; just because she stars on screen, it doesn't mean her personal life should be an open book. And that also adds context to why Chopra and Jonas took their time confirming the rumors — they waited until they were actually ready.<br /><br />Now that the news is out there, fans can officially celebrate. It looks like Jonas and Chopra are getting their happily-ever-after, and it's so sweet to see.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">With his second place finish in the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race, the 24th race of the 36-race NASCAR Cup Series season, at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night, Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson clinched a berth in the playoffs based on his point total.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Larson, who drives the #42 Chevrolet, currently sits in ninth place in the championship standings and 12th in the playoff picture.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Two races remain on the regular season schedule, meaning that the maximum number of drivers who are currently outside of the playoff picture who could possibly win their way into the playoffs before the regular season ends is two.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">The playoff cut line currently sits between the drivers who sit in 15th and 16th place in the championship standings. These drivers are Hendrick Motorsports’ Alex Bowman and Roush Fenway Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">If two drivers who are currently below the playoff cut line win their way into the playoffs, the playoff cut line would move between the drivers who sit in 13th and 14th place in the championship standings. These drivers are currently Stewart-Haas Racing’s Aric Almirola and Hendrick Motorsports’ Jimmie Johnson.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Because a maximum of 55 points (10 points for winning stage one, 10 points for winning stage two and 35 points for finishing the race in second place) are on the table for drivers who do not win a given race, Johnson can make up a maximum of 110 points (108 points assuming Larson races since even last place finishers receive one point) over Larson over the course of the final two races of the regular season.</span><br />

As a result, there is no possible way by which Larson can fall below the playoff cut line no matter how it rises, meaning he has clinched a playoff berth.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Johnson winning either one or both of the regular season’s final two races would not cause the playoff cut line to move since he is currently in the playoff picture.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Nine drivers have clinched playoff berths by winning at least one race so far this season and another three, including Larson, have done so based on their point totals. With two races remaining in the regular season, there are still four playoff positions available, meaning at least two more drivers will get into the playoffs based on their point totals.</span></div>

Sarah Moses writes about it, in her essay, "Single Woman Seeking Manwich."<br /><br />It's read by actor and rapper Awkwafina. She stars in "Crazy Rich Asians," in theaters August 15, and "Oceans Eight."<br />Where Are They Now?<br /><br />Sarah Moses is a fan of the Modern Love column, and had wanted to write a piece for a long time. She realized that the sandwich incident gave her perfect material.<br /><br />"I mean, it was just funny. And kind of sad. And that sort of sums up online dating," she says.<br /><br />Sarah got a lot of responses to her story, and says that her favorite came from a woman who left her a voicemail a few months after her piece came out, where she explains that she has a 43-year-old son in Manhattan.<br /><br />"He's a wonderful, smart, slim, handsome guy," the woman says in the message. "Very successful, and also feeling like New York is a hard place to meet people. And I thought you might like to meet each other. If you are at all game to meet someone because his mother left you a message, then please look him up on Facebook, and don’t tell him that his mother left this message. But if you should click, then we can reveal this secret."<br /><br />"It was a riot," Sarah says. "She was really sweet. I never ended up meeting her son. I kind of wish that I had met her, though. She seemed pretty cool."<br /><br />Sarah says that the story she wrote about wasn’t the only time that sandwiches intersected with her dating life. When she was up at a lake house with friends, she says she and one of the guys there started flirting. And the last night they were there, she decided to make a move.<br /><br />"He had grabbed a half of a leftover sandwich out of the fridge," Sarah says. "And I noticed he’d left his phone in the house, so it was my excuse to go back out to his tent. I went to his tent, gave him his phone, and basically tried to get into the tent. And he was just like ... 'Please go away, I just want to eat my sandwich.' And I was just laughing because I was just rejected by a sandwich, and now I’m being rejected for a sandwich. So I need to rethink my relationships with sandwiches maybe."<br /><br />Sarah is still dating, but she says she hasn't found the relationship she's been looking for.<br /><br />"If finding someone to share your life with defines your life’s happiness, that’s just sad," she says. "I don’t accept that as an outcome. So I try hard to be fine doing stuff alone. Sometimes I’m lonely. Sometimes I feel alone. There’s a difference, though. Sometimes I’m really grateful that I’m alone. I think it’s a hard balance. I have certain things that I would just want to have in a partner. The policyholder can then write to the <a href="https://aadharcardonline.zohosites.com/modi-5-lakh-insurance.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">insurance company</a> informing it about the sale of the old car and that he wants the NCB earned on the old car to be utilised for the new car. Existing insurance policy details should be mentioned in the email or letter for easy reference.</div>

Use of the NCB certificate<br />
Once the application has been sent, it takes about one to two working days for the insurance company to issue the NCB certificate, which can be used as proof of the existing NCB. On the basis of the certificate, the insurance company can apply the NCB as a discount on the insurance premium for the new car. A substantial discount can be availed of if the existing NCB is 50%.<br />
Points to note<br />
1. To transfer the NCB to a new car, the insurance for it doesn’t have to be taken from the same insurer.<br />
2. The NCB of an old car can make a big difference to the insurance premium of the new car.<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"></span><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Lloyds has scrapped the annual fees on the card, but gone also are the the fee-free overseas spending - a rare find on a rewards card - and seat upgrade vouchers.<br /><br />The changes are being made as American Express is no longer issuing cards through third party banks, so Lloyds will no longer be able to offer the Amex card linked to the account. <br /><br />This is a knock on effect of the EU's cap to interchange fees in 2015 which slashed the amount of money banks and card provider could earn when processing payments. <br />When will you be told? <br /><br />Lloyds is gradually sending letters to affected customers, between now and April 2019.<br /><br />Customers will then be given 60 days after they receive the letter before the changes take effect.<br /><br />You will receive a new card in the post and given a partial refund on any card fees paid in the past 12 months.<br /><br />Direct debits will be automatically transferred but you will need to set up new standing orders for any subscriptions you have set up on your card. <br /><br />You can find out more on the Lloyds website. <br /><br />>Find out more about how to spend your Avios to make the most of your points  <br />What's changed?<br /><br />The Lloyds Avios Rewards card previously offered customers both an Amex and a Mastercard attached to the account. <br /><br />The major benefit of this was that if a shop didn't accept Amex you could still earn points on spending.<br /><br />When launched, its Lloyds Avios Rewards card cost £24 per year and offered double points for the first six months.<br />It came with no foreign transaction fees and a flight upgrade after you spent £7,000 in a year. <br /><br />On top of this your spending then earned 1.25 Avios per £1 spend on the Amex card and 0.2 Avios per £1 on the Mastercard.<br /><br />If you split a £1,000 monthly spend on the card between the Amex and the Mastercard you would have earned 8,700 Avios over the course of a year.<br /><br />That's enough to get a return flight to Paris or Amsterdam. <br /><br />Plus you would have bagged yourself a seat upgrade at the same time.<br /><br />Avios points can be used on Aer Lingus, British Airways, Flybe, Iberia and Vueling flights.<br /><br />As mentioned above the new deal is fairly basic with just one Mastercard paying 2 Avios per £5 spend – that's 0.4 Avios per £1.<br /><br />On overseas spending you get 4 Avios per £5 spend, so that's 0.8 Avios per £1.<br /><br />Excluding any holiday spends, the new rate means a £1,000 monthly spend now earns 4,800 Avios per year.<br /><br />The card charges 2.95 per cent on foreign transactions and there will be no upgrade vouchers. APR rates will stay the same. <br />Got a Club Lloyds account? You can earn slightly more<br /><br />If you already have a Club Lloyds Current Account, and have had one for six months you will get an extra point per £10 spend. <br /><br />That's effectively an extra 0.1 Avios per £1, or 0.2 Avios per £1 on overseas spending.  <br />Should you ditch it for a better alternative? <br /><br />Rob Burgess, of airline rewards site Head for Points, said: 'If you have a Lloyd Avios Rewards card already, I would keep the replacement. <br /><br />You won't find a better Visa or Mastercard earning rate than 0.4 Avios per £1. You should, however, get yourself a separate 0 per cent Foreign exchange fees credit card now that the Lloyds card is not free abroad as well as a separate American Express to benefit from the higher rewards those cards offer.' <br /><br />The free BA American Express card pays 1 Avios per £1 while the £195 Premium Plus card gets you 1.5 per £1. <br /><br />Other top-paying alternatives include the American Express Preferred Rewards Credit Card. <br /><br />It offers Membership Rewards that can be swapped like-for-like with a handful of big name airline schemes, including British Airways, Emirates Skywards, Etihad Guest and Virgin Atlantic FlyingClub.<br /><br />It's a premium card with a £140 annual fee  - this is waived for the first year (and 22.9 per cent interest on spending). <br /><br />You receive 20,000 Membership Rewards if you spend £2,000 within three months, 10,000 points for every year you spend more than £15,000.<br /><br />Plus spends earn one point for each £1 and two points per £1 for foreign currency spends or airline bookings.<br /><br />Virgin Bank has also launched two credit cards this year, to be used with Virgin Atlantic. <br /><br />Its premium Reward+ Credit Card costs £160 a year with 22.9 per cent interest on purchases. <br /><br />It offers 15,000 bonus points on your first card purchase, 1.5 Flying Club miles for every £1 you spend and a companion voucher or free upgrade after a £10,000.<br /><br />The free Virgin Atlantic Reward Card also has a 22.9 APR per cent interest. The figure missed analysts' average expectation of $247.3 million, according to FactSet.<br />Total revenue rose to $651.6 million while a roughly 10% increase in overall expenses, largely to fund investments in new products, dragged GoDaddy's net income lower by 13% to $18.1 million.</span></div>
